What's Being Proposed
A development has been proposed that would replace the Seabright Plaza with a 6 story residential living facility for senior citizens. While we support senior living facilities, we do not support tearing down our local plaza for this purpose.
The plaza is home to a dozen local businesses and the people who work there. If approved, those businesses could be forced out and the corner of Seabright and Soquel would change forever.
We are sharing the facts here in plain language so neighbors can understand what is proposed and make their voices heard. Any figure not yet confirmed from official documents is marked in [BRACKETS] and will be updated in Phase 2.
